Unexpected Beauty
Sometimes the most beautiful things are the easiest to ignore. Whether it is strolling around in state park, making the rounds in my outdoor classroom, or taking a normal walk around the neighborhood, beauty is everywhere.
In ordinary things.
In hidden corners.
Right in front of your face.
I saw these windblown leaves trapped in a fence and instantly, my creative juices started flowing and I wondered if the leaves were sad their windy adventure had come to a sudden stop. Were they jealous of their leaf friends who were able to keep moving to new places? Were they relieved to find a resting place after twirling and whirling from their tree of origin?
What do you think?
Beauty is everywhere. Keep your eyes open and you’ll find it. It may also find you.
