Kindness Counts

While waiting for our food order at a local pizzeria, my daughter and I chatted about her drama class and discussed the picnic we were about to enjoy.

In the midst of our conversation, the staff member asked my daughter Embry about her colorful winter hat. A few minutes later, she presented Embry with a small but detailed caricature on a piece of receipt paper, with specific attention paid to that aforementioned hat.

That little gesture made my daughter’s day.

Those innocent, little things make a world of difference. Often, the smallest gestures make the largest impact.

Kindness spreads like the ripple effect of dropping a pebble in a pond.

Kindness counts. Every little bit.

What kindness will you spread today?
