Puddle Jumping

With the rain currently pouring down and rumbles of thunder in the distance, one ight think my kids and I will be hunkered down. Guess again!

Take advantage of the wild and wet weather and refresh your creative and playful spirit by playing in the rain.

Go puddle jumping. Who/what makes the biggest splash?

Make a mud pie. Yummy!

Go on a worm hunt. How many did you find?

Make a natural paintbrush and mud and make a mud painting.

Listen to and re-create the music of a storm. The pitter patters. The crashes. The blasts.

Follow the water paths made. Where does the water go? Can you make a dam or alter the water’s direction?

If you’re lucky, see if a rainbow greets you.

Just get outside, get playing, and let the wonder of the water guide your adventure.
