Kitty Blanket

One of the perks of having a social kitty is their warmth. In out lives, my wife and I have had various cats with a multitude of attitude. Some love being around us. Some didn’t.

We joke that we will never find a cat like the one we had as a young married couple. Ozzie was an amazing cat who acted like a dog and loved like a human, He came when he was called, loved to snuggle, and kept us entertained all the time. When he passed, we knew he couldn’t be replaced but we hoped future cares would have a personality resemblance.

Irwin never came close. Puma has come around in her twilight years. Mittens wake acting more and more Ozzzie-like before her untimely passing. Shadow, Mittens’ brother, seems to slowly become more like Ozzie. He still has a ways to go but as long as he occasionally becomes a kitty blanket, I’ll be happy.
