The Memories

We’ve had the unfortunate opportunity to attend a number of funerals and/or memorial services lately. While these may have a feeling of finalization and sadness, I try to look at them as a celebration of life and a chance to rekindle happy memories.

Some of these services have been with people I knew dearly while others have not. Yet, regardless of that relationship, seeing people’s joy in the power of reminiscing always warms my heart. I feel I get to know these people even more then I knew them while they were in this life. It brings me hope that I an elarn even more about them in the next one.
