Super Cooper
Don’t call me Bob Vila. I am not a handyman by any means. But as it often does, necessity forces ingenuity. Oddly enough, when we decided to kick off our farm with chickens, we knew we would be heading into uncharted territory. It can be a bit daunting, especially when I am neither blessed with handyman skills and experience. But, with the help of research, helpful friends, and of course, having the right tools, I have kept busy turning an old horse stall into a chicken coop, building new barn doors, and even restoring sections of the barn.
Now, though I still occasionally follow the “measure once, cut twice method” (oops), I am getting better and oddly enough enjoying the process. This is a good thing, since there is PLENTY of work ahead.
